D is for Dreams

They are scary, romantic, exciting, fantastic, abandonment, fear, joy, happiness, and make me very happy... DREAMS!
A dream is a succession of thoughts, images, sounds or emotions which the mind experiences during sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history.
I dont know about you, but I think dreams are an amazing thing that the mind does, while the rest of your body is sleeping! The only thing i don't like about dreams is when you have a scary dream, because you can't control whats going on, and sometimes you can't stop it, well at least I can't! When I'm dreaming I do love it when something in my dream is going perfect, like meeting Justin Bieber or just really good things happening to me.

Another thing that makes me more interested in dreams is how people will dream something bad, and then maybe a day, a week, or even 40 years from then it will come true! This has happened to my father, about six years ago he had a dream that he was sitting in a really fancy room with the princess of Australia or someone like that, and about a year ago when he was in Australia it came true! He was sitting in the exact same fancy room with the princess of Australia.
Thats one thing about dreams that I absolutely love, because its just amazing how the mind will know that or when the moment comes that those things happen, it will seem so familiar like it was bound to happen!
Thats my theory on dreams, maybe its different for you and you just don't find them very interesting, but I'm obviously the total opposite!
Life Lesson: Think about next time you dream, and what its about and maybe you find it cool how you don't control what happens too! Also think about what kind of imagination you have in your dreams, and try to relate it to your normal life!

S is for Soccer

Shes running down the field, the pressure is on, she shoots she scores!Soccer_Player.jpg
I love running down the soccer field with the ball and passing it back and forth with my friends! I also love the adrenaline rush I get while running, all the pressure from the crowd, and your coaches! But most of all I like having to get around the other team, while passing it back and forth with your friends! Soccer is even more exciting when your trying to get a goal, since I am just new, I miss the net sometimes but its still fun going back and trying again!

This is my first season playing soccer at SJK and I love it, but before I started I wasn't so sure about soccer... I don't know what i was thinking! Soccer is extremely exciting, but it seems more entertaining for me to be involved in the game, like forward or mid-field. Maybe your different and like being defence or goalie where you defend for your team, which is just as important!
I would highly recommend playing soccer to anyone and any age. If you have never played you should try it, like I did and again I thought I wouldn't like it but I did!!
In conclusion get up and go play soccer, practice and have fun!
Life lesson: Try new things even if you don't think you'll like them, because in the end you might LOVE it!

I is for Iby

Black, lovely, beautiful, stunning, exquisite, ravishing, moody mare!
Thats my horse Ibica for you! I have had Iby since December, she is an amazing horse. Before we bought her we free-leased her, but we loved her so much we had to buy her ;)!
She is a dutch warmblood cross with a hanoverian. She is now thirteen years old, fourteen on January first. She has deep, adorable eyes that make you melt! She has a big belly but is getting better ever since i got her.
When i did get Iby she was very out of shape and everyone seemed to think she was pregnant!! People who don't know her still seem to ask if she is having a baby. But thats because, Iby was a broad mare and she had three or two babies before the old owner had her. So it will be really hard to get rid of her belly completely, and besides it just wouldn't be Iby if she was skinny!
Ibica is an amazing hunter/ jumper horse, she has been to a lot of shows before I got her. And she placed very well too! Iby is on a break from jumping at the moment because of the crack in her hooves.
Iby is coming to my house at the end of June, I am very excited to have her that close to me and being able to her whenever I feel like it!
Lesson learned: When I first rode Iby to try her out, i wasn't so sure i liked her... but that was probably only because i went from riding a 13 hand pony to a 16 hand mare! But now I have Iby and she is an amazing animal and made me a better rider! (:

Cheerleading

CHEER SPORT GYMS ... ALWAYS RISE ABOVE ... CHAMPIONS UNITED ... TEAL IS LOVE
Cheerleading-
I am a cheerleader, a cheer sport shark(the gym i go to) ;) I have been in cheer for three years now, and I was in dance since i was about four, which really helped me!
I can do anything from back walk overs to back tucks, and front tucks(back flip and front flip).
Cheerleading is a very fun, and entertaining thing to do! A lot of people think that cheerleading is not a aport, I'm not so sure my self either. People also think that it is all preppy girls who stand there and shout!
Cheer is much more than that, if cheerleading was like that I probably wouldn't be in it!
In cheerleading there is a routine, about 3-5 minutes long, it requires about seven sections/parts. There are usually about 25 to 35 people on a team, on the lower levels come times theres only about 5 to 15!
1.Opening, 2.partner stunts, 3.tumbling, 4. pyramid, 5. band cheer, 6.dance, 7.a optional partner stunt
The opening usually will include some motions, stunting and tumbling. The opening in my routine this year includes a lot of tumbling, I do a kart-wheel backhand spring tuck and then my motions. The opening is very important, the team should be trying there best because if it looks sloppy the judges, will have a bad impression of the team!
Next is the partner stunts, which are stunts featuring four to five people, or more depending on the group. There are many different types of stunts from very beginner to advanced. When you are first starting cheerleading you do thing like thigh stands and double base, but as you move on to higher teams you do things like: extensions, limbs, fulls, baskets, twist ups... and on and on!

Now we have tumbling, for your tumbling sections its mostly just tumbling the whole time, and the coaches will throw in some motions. Again there are many different skills in tumbling depending on your level. In more advanced, the teams will be doing a lot of back handsprings and tucks, on the even higher teams you'll see a lot of fulls and halfs and layouts.

There is also the pyramid, this is the thing that most people know or have reconized in a cheer routine! Its easy to remember because it looks like a triangle/pyramid!

The band cheer, is the cheer that was said at the very beginning its the gyms cheer, every gym has there own different cheer, that the audience cheers along with the team. The band cheer changes every year.

Finally the dance its pretty clear that in the dance, you dance! (; The dance is another important part of the routine, because it shows the judges how hard you try and how sharp and neat you are.
At the end of the routine, depends on how many days the competition is, there is the awards ceremony. Thats were you find out your places, when you get back home and you have your practice after the competition you find out where you went wrong and how to improve.
